    Veterinary Tech School: Bel Rae

    Jessica has worked at VCA HRAH since July 2009. She graduated from Bel Rae in 2001 and has been a Licensed Veterniary Technician for 9 years. She has been taking care of animals all her life, including owning and managing a horse breeding business. Jessica's other hobbies include community theater, horseback riding, and singing.

    Alicia Wallace

    Prior to VCA, Alisha worked at the Tufts University ICU and ER. Alsiha brings to VCA Herndon Reston many skills from working as an overnight emergency and ICU technician. Alisha has been with the VCA family since May 2013. She plays an important part in our hospital as one of our technicians by bringing strong patient care skils and compassion to our clients and thier pets. She joined the veterinary profession out of her love for people and animals alike. Her current animal companion is Hamish: A Autstralian Shepherd. Outside of working at the hospital, Alisha likes to spend time with family and friends.

    Alyssa Homyk
    School: Virginia Tech, BS in Animal Medicine

    Alyssa's experience prior to VCA was with training service dogs, working with quarter horses on a breeding farm at Virginia Tech. Alyssa is a recent 2013 graduate from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors of Science in animal medicine. Alyssa has worked as a equine nursing assistant at Marion Dupont E.M.C. Specific roles that Alyssa plays in the hospital are helping everyone with thier daily tasks. Alyssa takes pride in insuring a clean and comfortable kennel and surgery area for our patients. She joined the veterinary profession as she aspires to become a veterinarian in the near future and is applying to veterinary schools. Her current companion animals are Bacchus: a boxer, Blueby,Sokka, and Zore: 3 budgies. Her favorite breed is the boxer. Alyssa's interests outside of the hospital are training her puppy, horseback riding, playing video games, reading and  yoga as well as she is a HUGE Virginia Tech football fan.
