    Ann Sprys

    Ann began her start in the veterinary profession by working at one of the first VCA hospitals in Michigan as a receptionist. She later moved on to manage a veterinary practice in Southeast Michigan and headed the IT software department for 5 hospitals for more than 18 years. Ann rejoined the VCA team in 2011 as a Hospital Manager for VCA Herndon Reston.  Her specific roles in the hospital are to provide servant leadership to her team . Ann takes much pride in being a positive leader and role model. Ann has a variety of daily business duties within the hospital and it is not uncommon to see her in scrubs in reception, kennels, and treatment assisting her team. Ann  joined the veterinary profession because of her love for veterinary medicine and the human animal bond. She is a true people person and loves talking to and getting to know clients and thier pets. Her current companion animals are 3 American Eskimo Dogs: PJ, Finnegan, and Miss Popcorn. BooBoo: a DSH cat , Wheezer: a Turkish Van cat and Corky: a Goffin cockatoo. Ann's interests outside of the hospital are following Bobby Labonte & NASCAR, flying, reading and traveling with her husband of 25 years. and spending time with family.

    Julie Stevans

    Julie has been with the practice since September 1999. She has four dogs and six cats and enjoys working with both the clients and their pets. She commutes from Winchester, VA, where she has lived for 20 years, but was originally a local in this area.

    As the office manager, she welcomes any questions and concerns anyone has about the practice!
