T'Ann is attending Parkland College where she is studying general education and has hopes of pursuing a physical therapy degree. She is a recent graduate of Blue Ridge High School. She was on the varsity volleyball, softball, and track teams.
Although T'Ann has just started working in the veterinary field she has been around animals all her life. She current has 2 bloodhounds (Boozer and Ella Mae) and a cat (Oakley).
Dominque is pursuing a degree in Applied Science and a career as a Vet Tech at Parkland College. She has had a life long love for animals and has two dogs of her own. She has an American Eskimo named Lucky and a Finnish Spitz named Bear. She enjoys spending time with her pets and family.
Kim has been married since 1987 and has both a daughter and son. Kim has a Dalmatian mix named Patch and a cat named Elsa. She has worked in the veterinary field for 30 years.
She has a special interest in cooking and gardening. She loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys traveling to various central Illinois locations learning about our states history.
Amy is originally from Wood Dale, Illinois, a small suburb near O'Hare Airport. She graduated in May of 2013 from Eastern Illinois University where her focus of study was on pre-veterinary medicine and she is working towards getting into veterinary school.
She has 1 dog, a Maltese- Lhasa Apso mix, named Ginger.
Kayla has worked in the veterinary field as a Vet Assistant/Receptionist since 2007. In addition, she has many years of experience with a wide variety of animals from small to large. She is currently in the process of getting her Veterinary Technician Degree while working towards a Masters in Wildlife and Marine Mammal rehabilitation. She is the proud owner of a dachshund named "Picasso", a Pit bull named "Ziggy" and an American Saddled Bred Horse named "Sunny Two Sox". Kayla's main hobbies and interests include anything that involves the outdoors and nature. She enjoys going to music festivals/concerts and spending close time with both friends and family.
Mindy is married and has 3 sons. She has worked in a veterinary office since 2003, performing kennel work, reception, and exam room assisting. She has been a cub scout leader for several years in the past and has taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible school and after-school-break at her church. Mindy has a yellow lab named Calamity, and Chaos her cat.
Tammy has worked at VCA Heritage since September of 2007. She has also volunteered at both the Champaign and Vermillion County Humane Societies. Previous to working at VCA she was the manager at a pet store for 6 years which specialized in reptiles and aquatics. Tammy has worked in obedience and Rally-O for 25 years. She also is a Canine Good Citizenship evaluator.
