    Jennifer Gilliland

    Jen has always had a love for animals since she was a little kid.   She fell in love with veterinary medicine when she went to college at Virginia Tech -- She has a degree in Biology and Chemistry.   Jen has been a veterinary assistant for about 10 years.   She has a German Shepherd named Bella that she loves dearly.   Jen also has a 30 gallon fish tank that is home to a sailfin pleco named Spike and a snail named Speedy.   During her spare time she enjoys video games, building and fixing computers, music, going to wineries and traveling.

    Carey Nicholas-Barnes

    Carey loves working with animals and brings a friendly smile to the clinic every day.   She enjoys camping, hiking and disc golf too.

    Lisa Orona

    Lisa fell in love with the veterinary field in 2012 and has never looked back.   She loves all animals, great and small, and goes horseback riding in her spare time.   When not with animals, she enjoys playing cello and kayaking, though not at the same time.

    Jessica Ortega

    Jessica has been part of our team since 2013.   She is crossed trained both as an assistant and for reception.   Jessica excels at and truly understands how to help clients and their pets.   She explains things carefully and is always ready to help in any aspect at VCA Healthy Paws.  She enjoys running in her spare time and loves all animals.    Her animal companions at home are her yorkipoo Mia and Beasley, her albino ferret.  She has more energy than 10 people and she keeps a positive attitude always.

    Elyssa Weber

    Elyssa aspires to be a veterinary technician.   She loves working with all kinds of animals - big or small.  In her free time she loves spending time with her sister Trinity and their two Golden Doodle dogs, Lilly and Lulu

    Trinity Weber

    Trinity is a full time team member at VCA Healthy Paws and in her spare time she volunteers at her local humane society.   She enjoys riding horses, and taking her golden doodle Lulu to the park.   She plans to attend NOVA in the spring to pursue a degree and become a veterinary technician. She enjoys working with animals and our clients and she wakes up every day excited for work!   And you are not seeing double, Elyssa and Trinity are twins.
