Biography

Dr. Ballou believes strongly that every client and pet deserves the very best medicine and service.   She is available to answer your questions and help you make decisions about your pets' care. 

Dr. Ballou has been working in Northern Virginia since 2003 and here at VCA Healthy PAWS since 2010. She currently has one dog and one husband. Her favorite areas of interest are abdominal ultrasound and animal behavior. Dr Ballou spends a lot of her free time outside running and mountain bike riding.

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. Emergency Care

At VCA Healthy PAWS Medical Center, we understand how frightening and stressful it can be when your pet requires emergency medical attention. If your pet has a medical emergency during business hours, please bring them in right away. You do not need an appointment and your pet will be triaged immediately. It is helpful if you call to notify us that you are on your way so that we can prepare the supplies needed for your pet's care.
