    Mechele "MeMe" Cossey

    MeMe joined Hawthorn Animal Hospital in 1998 as a receptionist. She enjoys seeing the puppies and kittens and watching them grow along with their families throughout the years. She is married with three lovely children. They reside in Lake Villa with their one dog Shiloh and their two cats Blondie and Smokey. MeMe also has her beloved turtle Sally which she rescued off of the side of a busy road three years ago. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and writing poetry.

    Mary Lutter

    Mary joined VCA Hawthorn Animal Hospital in 2009. She has been in the veterinary reception field for four years. Mary lives in Libertyville with her husband, four children and a various array of pets. Her hobbies include sewing, reading and volunteering for local rescue groups.

    Laura Rausch

    Laura came to VCA Hawthorn as a receptionist in 2010. She enjoys the opportunity to meet and work with all of the clients. Laura is married and has two great kids. They live in Mundelein with their Labrador Retriever Duncan and their cat Panda. She and her family work closely with Leader Dogs for the BLind and have successfully raised five leader dog puppies.
