Veterinary Tech School: Consumnes College
I have been in the Veterinary field since 2003. I studied at Consumes River College and graduated in 2005. I passed the state boards in October 2005 to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I work with animal rescue regularly and volunteer at spay and neuter clinics. My interests are dentistry and critical care. I was hired at Greenhaven Pocket Animal Hospital as a Supervisor Technician in 2012. I enjoy my work and feel moving to Greenhaven Pocket was one of my best decisions. My hobbies include hiking, reading and spending time with all of my many rescued pets. I look forward to meeting and building my relationship with you and yours pets.

My name is Erica and I am 24 years young. I graduated Carrington College California in 2012 and have been in the field for about 3.5 years as of august 2014. I have two pets of my own: Chance is my 5 year old Lab/ Pit mix and I just rescued a kitten, Zena, who is only a couple months. I enjoy listening to music and spending time with friends and family during my time off. And I am over joyed that I decided to make this profession my career

I was born and raised here in Sacramento. Growing up I always had pets in my home, my favorite being a 75 lb. Doberman named Kala (meaning money in Hawaiian). It was actually his Veterinarian that initially sparked my interest in this field. I have been in the veterinary world since 2006, graduated from Western Career College in 2008 and have been here at VCA since 2010. I love all critters but have a special place in my heart for Doberman Pincher, Pitbulls and Tuxedo cats. When I’m not at work you would probably find me in a wrestling match with 1 of 3 children (all boys) or spending quality time with my nail polish collection. I have a BIG passion for Arts and Crafts.

I started out in human medicine and then changed to the veterinary field over 15 years ago. I have 4 boys and 2 granddaughter's and 2 grandson's. I love playing with all the different animals. I can't see myself doing anything else. I have been at VCA Greenhaven Pocket for 5 years now and I enjoy working with the clients and their babies when they bring them in.
