    Alea Hanakeawe

I was born and raised here in Sacramento.  Growing up I always had pets in my home, my favorite being a 75 lb. Doberman named Kala (meaning money in Hawaiian).  It was actually his Veterinarian that initially sparked my interest in this field.  I have been in the veterinary world since 2006, graduated from Western Career College in 2008 and have been here at VCA since 2010.  I love all critters but have a special place in my heart for Doberman Pincher, Pitbulls and Tuxedo cats.  When I’m not at work you would probably find me in a wrestling match with 1 of 3 children (all boys) or spending quality time with my nail polish collection. I have a BIG passion for Arts and Crafts.
