At VCA Greenhaven Pocket Animal Hospital, we welcome you, your dog, cat and other pets.
We have 5 veterinarians and 18 employees who believe our clients and patients are our top priority. We know getting to know you and your pets will provide the best possible health care. In fact, when you come in, you'll see exactly why our veterinarians are praised for their kind and thoughtful care. Our doctors and staff will sit on the floor with your pet and give you the time, help, and information you need to be able to make a knowledgable decision in the care for your beloved family member. We'll carefully track the course of your pet's care, and always keep the importance of your pet's long-term health in mind.

From playful puppies and kittens to devoted senior companions, every pet at every age needs regular professional exams.

Your VCA Greenhaven Pocket Animal Hospital veterinarians have a wide range of diagnostic tools available to help your pet live a long and healthly life.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous local medical issues that can impact your pet's health and that require your attention over the entire year. For example, there's heartworm, which can affect both cats and dogs. Because it's transmitted by mosquitoes, which thrive in our region, it's a serious cause for concern. And because the winter temperatures here do not get cold enough to kill mosquito eggs, it's a year-round risk. The potential for flea and tick infestation, or intestinal parasites, some of which are transmittable to humans, poses a problem in any season. And finally, contrary to what you'd expect, allergies are a year-round issue. Many pets suffer from skin and ear allergies year round.
