We also have a fully remodeled boarding and grooming facility right next door!

In every case, you will be served by experienced, knowledgeable members of our staff. Our veterinarians, veterinary technicians and customer service representatives are trained to the highest standards. Their knowledge of the latest in veterinary medicine, dentistry and a varitey of procedures ensures that all our pet patients get the best in preventive care and treatment for unexpected illnesses.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous local medical issues that can impact your pet's health and which require your attention over the entire year. Heartworm disease is a blood parasite that is transmitted by mosquitoes and affects both cats and dogs alike. In our region, which has mild winters, mosquitoes have the potential to transmit the disease to your pet year-round. Fortunately, we have highly effective preventative medicine that can protect your pets from this potentially deadly infection. In addition, both indoor and outdoor pets can contract a variety of intestinal parasites year-round, including hookworm, roundworm, giardia and tapeworms. Finally, contrary to what you would expect, allergies are a year-round issue. Many pets suffer from skin and ear allergies, the signs of which include scratching, redness in the ears, and "scaly" or red skin.
