Dr. Elizabeth Buerling joined our VCA Green family in October 2023. She is no stranger to our community, as she attended and graduated from Green Local Schools. She received her B.S. from The Ohio State University, her DVM degree from Ross University, and she completed her Clinical 4th year at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Buerling's favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to connect with a client about their pet and helping them make the best decision for them. She enjoys observing the power of the human-animal bond and continuously gaining more knowledge every day.

Professionally, Dr. Buerling has a particular interest in veterinary anesthesia. She enjoys the chance to deliver anesthesia safely while providing optimal pain relief to each patient, maximizing her goal of keeping her patients as comfortable as possible in their time of need.

Outside of work, Dr. Buerling loves spending time with her family pet, a Corgi named Charlotte. She also enjoys hiking, snow skiing, waterskiing, SCUBA diving, flying, competitive shooting, riding horses, traveling and cooking with her loved ones.
