Glen Animal Hospital

Client Services

  • Receptionist

    Synde Cohen

For over 15 years Synde has been part of Glen Animal Hospital’s front staff of client service representatives. She took a brief break a few years ago to finish her degrees. Prior to becoming a full time teacher, Synde spent many day, evening, and weekend shifts helping to answer client questions and communicating our doctors’ instructions to concerned “pet parents.” She remains with us at Glen Animal Hospital and communicates client inquiries to the appropriate doctor’s promptly. Synde adopted her cat "Mushroom" from Glen Animal Hospital after the cat was abandoned on our doorstep several years ago. Prior to that, she adopted her boxer, "Molson," from one of our hospital’s clients.

  • Receptionist

    Vanessa Puertas

Vanessa is Glen Animal Hospital’s full time receptionist, providing all of our clients and their pets with the utmost client service and special attention that they deserve. With considerable multi-tasking throughout her day, Vanessa always provides client services with a smile. Vanessa is extremely knowledgeable about our hospital’s services and, with oversight from our veterinarians, provides guidance to pet owners regarding the selection of “Best Care” medical exam packages offered to fit a pet’s specific needs. As another long term staff member (13 years), she moved away, but was eager to transfer back again a few years ago. Vanessa currently has both dogs (4 Chihuahuas) and cats.

  • Receptionist

    Jillian Sementinii

Jillian has been at Glen Animal Hospital for over 5 years. She started as a receptionist and has taken on the added responsibility of animal care on the weekends. In addition, she has been flexible enough to head over to East Norwich to lend a helping hand at VCA Animal General Animal Hospital. Recently a college graduate with an interest in the armed forces, we may be seeing less of her, but her dog Frankie will still be our patient!

  • Receptionist

    Liz Tiefenwerth

For over a decade Liz has been one of our friendliest faces! She is very knowledgeable about the hospital and the services we provide and has worked alongside many veterinarians over the years.  While she does have a full time job in the human medical field, she comes quite a distance in order to remain part of our team on the weekends!  She goes home to take care of her cats -- Bella, Happy, Snuggie, Striper, and Sunshine. For those of you that know us at Glen Animal Hospital, “Sunshine” is the brother of our very own hospital cat, “Brat” (the greeter!).

  • Receptionist

    Tiffany Zawislewski

Tiffany is our newest member of the team! She joins us as a shared employee from Animal General Animal Hospital in East Norwich, where she has been a part-time receptionist for almost a year. She is enthusiastic about getting to know our clients and patients at Glen Animal Hospital.
