I have worked at VCA Gateway Animal Hospital for 9 1/2 years.  I have two pets, a Welsh Corgi named Sadie and a Quarter horse mare named Dixie.  I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog.  I also enjoy bike riding and hiking.  My favorite part of my job is getting to know the patients and their families.

I have been working at VCA Gateway Animal Hospital since 2012.   I have 5 pets; Brody (chocolate lab), Milo (DLH, black & white), Vinny (DLH, Orange), Maisy (DMH, Tabby/Calico) and Sophie (Griffon/Beagle Mix).  I am originally from Salinas, CA but grew up in Northern California.  When I am not at work I take my dog to the river and lake.  I like to take random drives and discover new place.  I like to take pictures of everything.  What I like most about my job, is being there for the animals for any reason.  I like to comfort them and try to make them feel better.  My dream is to become an Equine Dentist one day.

I have been working as a kennel assistant at VCA Gateway Animal Hospital since 2013.  I was born in Oroville and grew up in Cottonwood.  I have one dog, Nikita, two cats, Rya and Pyro, one bird named Flow, and two horses.  When I am not working I love to spend time with my little boy, ride horses, scrapbooking, reading, knitting and playing video games.  I love working with my co-workers the most, but there isn't anything I don't like!  In other words I love everything about my job.  Someday I would like to be a RVT or a veterinarian.

Specialty Care

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you.
