My Name is Meliea and I am an Veterinary Technician with VCA. I have been in the veterinary field for 10 years. I have 1 Chihuahua named Romeo and another Chihuahua/Pom mix named Lil Dude, which I take every where with me. Not a day goes by that he isn't seen riding in my car with me. And I cant forget about my cat Malki. My animals are my babies. I am a mother of a beautiful daughter 17 yrs old named Destiny who means the world to me. I am happily married going on 2 years to the love of my life Ronald Jackson Jr.
I have been at VCA Fort Worth Animal Medical Center since 2011. I started as receptionist 10 yrs ago and I am now the ICU Technician at VCA Fort Worth Animal Medical Center. I have been an employee with VCA since April of 2007. As far back as I can remember I've always wanted to work with animals. I treat every patient that comes in like they are my own. I wouldn't change my career for anything in the world. I can honestly say I love what I do.

    Ashley Yeager

My name is Ashley Yeager, I have been a veterinary technician at VCA Fort Worth Animal Medical Center since August 2012. I have been in the veterinary field for nearly seven years, and a technician for five. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and then will continue on to achieve my DVM at vet school. I would like to specialize in emergency medicine. I have three dogs of my own; a 13 year old labrador named Max, a 12 year old shepherd mix named Newman, and a 4 year old bird-dog mix named Bella Rose. The boys are house loungers, but Bella is an avid hunter and loves romping around in the woods or a field where she can hunt for something to snag. Those three bring such joy and happiness daily. I also have been riding horses for 16 years, and though I do not currently own horses due to time constraints with work and school, but I hope to again someday.
