Biography

Doctor Roderick Gant, a native of Baton Rouge, LA received his B.S. of Animal Science from Southern University A&M College in 1992. He went on to receive his Master of Science in Dairy Nutrition and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 1996 and 2000 respectively. Upon completion of his DVM, Dr. Gant completed a one year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Doctor Gant went on to practice emergency medicine in Philadelphia for 5 years before moving to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2007. Doctor Gant really enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine and looks forward to helping you with your pets if an emergencies ever arises. Doctor Gant likes to spend his free time with his daughter and son, and dogs Bella and jackson. He also, enjoys the outdoors, cooking, reading, and watching sporting events.
