Danielle Snyder, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Mississippi State University

Dr. Danielle Snyder, a native of Ocean Springs, MS, was accepted into the Early Entry Program offered by Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine during her senior year of high school. The Early Entry Program allows high-achieving high school seniors to earn pre-acceptance into veterinary school. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Science from Mississippi State University in 2008 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Following graduation, Dr. Snyder moved to South Africa with her husband where they practiced primarily on native wildlife species including rhinos, lions, giraffes, and buffalo. After making the difficult decision to move back to the USA, they ended up in California where she practiced at a small animal clinic for 1 year before moving to the Fort Worth area in 2013. She currently serves as the Clinical Director on the Board of Directors for Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc and loves all aspects of wildlife and exotic medicine. Dr. Snyder likes to spend her free time outdoors and is actively involved in conformation and lure coursing activities with her 3 borzoi.
