Ashleigh Fann, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Ashleigh Fann grew up in Mustang, OK. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and a Bachelor degree in Animal Science in 1999. Following graduation, Dr. Fann briefly worked in equine practice in the Tulsa area before answering the call to serve in the US Army Veterinary Corps in 2003. She was stationed in Texas, Iraq, Okinawa, and North Carolina, leaving active duty in 2010 and joining VCA Fort Worth as an emergency associate. She continues to serve in the Army Reserve and has deployed to Alaska, Afghanistan and El Salvador. Dr. Fann has a special interest in surgery, emergency medicine, and pain management. She is a member of the International and European Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Societies, the International Veterinary Association of Pain Management, and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom. She is currently pursuing certification as a Veterinary Pain Practitioner and Board Certification in the American College of Veterinary Practitioners (Canine/Feline). An avid athlete, Dr. Fann enjoys training for and competing in Ironman triathlon and CrossFit as well as perfecting Paleo recipes, gardening, and traveling every chance she gets. Dr. Fann lives in the Keller/Haslet area with her 4-legged family including Border Collie, Dixie; calico cat, Hannah, and Paint Horse, Bobbi.
