Pet of the Month

Bubbes is an 8 year old Pomeranian that loves to give hugs and kisses! She's a little dog with a big personality; her name definitely fits her!

We first met Bubbles in 2013 as a boarding client. But in February of this year, Bubbles needed much more than kennel services. When she and her owner came into the hospital, Bubbles was suffering from what her owner thought was and aggravated anal gland. Doctor Snyder gave Bubbles a thorough examination and found something much more serious: Bubbles was diagnosed with a pyometra. Basically, Bubbles' uterus was infected and could be fatal if not removed immediately. It was a difficult decision to make, but ultimately Doctor Snyder and the owner were able to create a treatment plan that was both affordable and gave Bubbles the best chance at survival.

It has been over a month since Bubbles had her surgery to remove the infection and she is doing very well! In her free time, Bubbles enjoys going anywhere un her owner's car. She's definitely not a homebody; she loves to drive around with the wind in her face! We are so glad Bubbles came to us and that we were able to extend her life. We hope to have a long-lasting relationship with this little Pom!
