Dawn was born and raised in Fort Lupton, Colorado. For 21 years she has been caring for animals and their families. She has specialized in veterinary dentistry and loves to help strengthen the bond between animals and their humans. After attending Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Dawn earned her A.A.S. degree and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1996.
When she is away from work she loves to spend time with her family outdoors including her 4 four-legged children, Jack "O" Lantern, Jade "O" Licous, Jet Pack, Ted "E" Bear and Kelti.

Karen is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Colorado now for 15 years. She is a 2013 graduate of Front Range Community College's veterinary technician program. Karen and her husband Mike have two English Setters (Dixie and Gunner). When not at work, Karen enjoys listening to music, watching movies, photography, camping, and hanging with friends.
Deena grew up in Fort Collins and attended Front Range Community College and graduated from the Veterinary Technology program in 2007. She has worked in small animal practice for 10 years in both Colorado and California. Deena does not currently have any pets of her own but is waiting for the right one to come along to rescue! In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, CrossFit, and spending time with family.
Kassey has lived in Fort Collins for most her life and has been working in the pet care industry for over 13 years. She became a veterinary technician in 2013. Her passion for dog related activities has grown to include competing in conformation, agility, lure coursing, tacking, earth-dog, barn hunt and K9 nosework with her Whippet named Benny and Border Terrier named McFly.
Ezequiel Guzman (also known as Zeke) was born in Iola, Texas, and was raised primarily in Chicago and California. Zeke was always filled with the desire to help wild and domestic animals, so he embarked on the veterinary world. Zeke gained as much knowledge and skill as he could, not only did he become a strong veterinary technician but also an advocate for all animals. His adventure started at West Ridge Animal Hospital in Greeley, CO, as a veterinary assistant. He then continued on to become a surgery anesthesia technician at VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado. He had attended Penn Foster Veterinary Technician College in Scranton, PA., and received training in emergency care, treatment and internal medicine.
During his time away from the hospital, he enjoys time with his wife and 5 human boys, his English Bulldog, “Panda” and “Mallah Mallah,” his blue/brindle/fawn Bully. He is looking forward to his newest venture of joining the VCA Fort Collins team!

Laure was born and raised in Denton Texas and moved to Fort Collins in 2008. She attended University of Texas at Arlington and received her Veterinary Technician Assistant Certification in 2007. Since she was little, Laure had always had a passion for animals and has always had a canine companion by her side in all stages of her life. Laure is super passionate about taking care of client’s pets like they were her own. When Laure isn’t covered in dog hair she enjoys hiking, camping, biking, snowboarding, video games, and any excuse to get covered in dog hair. Laure likes pets of all sizes and has a Chihuahua “Pixel” and a Great Dane “Oliver”.
