Katrina Morgan, DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Katrina Morgan
Biography
Dr. Morgan, a Colorado native, has lived in Fort Collins for sixteen years, earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Colorado State University and graduating in the Class of 2005 at the CSU College of Veterinary Medicine. She comes to us after working in a small animal practice in Loveland for six years, the last three years as Chief of Staff. Though her primary interest is in preventive care and early detection of diseases, she is proficient in all aspects of general practice: she enjoys the complexity of medicine cases as well as the challenge of surgery. She especially wants her clients to know they are her partners in their animals’ health care. She looks forward to working at VCA Fort Collins Animal Hospital where she will be part of a team that values compassionate care and practices exceptional quality medicine and where strong communication is the foundation for nurturing the human-animal bond.
Dr. Morgan and her husband, Ben, have deep roots in the Fort Collins region and are active in CSU athletic department activities. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and baby son and she shares her life with a lovable yellow Lab named Abby and an orange tabby cat named Sullivan. She cycles and hikes year-round and loves summer camping trips; she is also passionate about reading and gardening.
