I am proud to say that I have been working at VCA Forestville Animal Hospital since 2002. I enjoy watching our canine, feline, and human families grow over all these years. It has been my honor to care for them and be a small part of your lives as your veterinarian.

I graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and uncle. I completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship in Mesa, Arizona, in 1998. My husband and I moved to Sonoma County in 2002 after backpacking through Africa for one year, going on many safaris and doing some volunteer work.

My days and years are very full with family life. My daughter, Adalie (2005), and son, Baylen (2008), keep us in full gear at all times. Our other "kids" are Finley, a little bundle of dog love and antics, who rotates beds on a nightly schedule so that we all get our fair share of night time cuddles. We also answer to two cats, Oliver and Molly, and one Russian tortoise, Elliot. Elliot is "neighborhood famous" for having unfortunately escaped, and then being found 6 months later one mile away!

I spend my time outside of work savoring my time with family, knowing that these last years before the kids head off to college is going to fly by. My interests run far and wide, including camping, backpacking, hiking, gardening, cooking, live music, and travel.
