Angelica Martinez, DVM, Medical Director

Dr. Angelica Martinez was born and raised in Southern California. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She worked as a veterinary technician in an emergency specialty practice for several years while working her way through college. She completed her Doctorate of veterinary medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following veterinary school, she completed a 1-year internship program in small animal medicine and surgery. This intensive program involved working closely with specialists in the treatment of internal medicine, surgical and emergency cases. She joined VCA Kent Animal Hospital in July 2008 and came to Five Corners in March 2012. Her special interests include preventative and geriatric medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry and emergency medicine. She is fluent in the Spanish language and is available for general practice appointments and surgical consultations.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes three male cats, Ethan, Stanley and Mason.
