Biography

Dr. Rhoad has been with the Findlay Animal Care Center since its inception in 1986, prior to which, he was a mixed animal veterinarian with the Findlay Animal Hospital since 1977.  He earned his Bachelor of Science at the Ohio State University in 1973 and then continued on at the College of Veterinary Medicine to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1976.  Dr. Rhoad is a member of the AVMA, OVMA, the OSU Alumni Association, and the OSU Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society.

Dr. Rhoad married his wife, Barb in 1972 and together they have three sons:  Brant, Ty, and Kyle and a granddaughter, Lucy.  They have a domestic short-haired tortie named Chrissie.

In their free time, Dr. Rhoad and Barb enjoy spending time with their sons and Lucy, watching Ohio State athletics and working on their farm.
