VCA Feline Medical Center

Melissa Waller, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Kansas State University

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas and have had cats nearly all of my life. I knew from a young age that cats were my favorite animal and that I wanted to help them in any way that I could.

I attended Kansas State University for both my undergraduate degree in agricultural economics and my doctorate of veterinary medicine. I graduated in 2013 with my DVM and began working at a feline only practice in Kansas. New opportunities opened up in my life and I began to look for new adventures and experiences in feline medicine. This led me to VCA Feline Medical Center where I started in March 2014.

When I'm not working, I enjoy showing my cats in CFA and TICA shows, reading and watching movies.

I absolutely adore all cats, even the ones that aren't so happy to see me. They are all beautiful creatures and I am thankful every day that I get to work with them.

I look forward to meeting both you and your kitties at VCA FMC!
