Dr. Clifton Hashimoto studied Bio Medical Science at Texas A & M, where he went on to obtain his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, graduating Summa Cum-Laude. Dr. Hashimoto completed a small animal externship in Louisville, KY before coming to Oahu. He spent several years at what is now VCA Kaneohe before coming to us in 2001.

Dr. Hashimoto has a special interest in Exotic Animal Medicine, treating turtles, rodents, and exotic birds of all species as well as dogs and cats. Dr. Hashimoto also enjoys Soft Tissue Surgery in all species.

Dr. Hashimoto served for 2 years as the President of the Hawaiian Veterinary Medical Association as well as serving as the Chairman of the Ethics and Peer Review Board here in Oahu.

Dr. Hashimoto adopted a stray cat, Milton, who has his own notoriety for being one of the rare cats to perform tricks. When he has time, Dr. Hashimoto enjoys surfing, rock climbing, and working in his vegetable garden.
