The love and care given to my Niki

-Joanne DiIeso from East Boston, MA
Pet Name: Niki DiIeso

Niki would like to send the team at the VCA Everett Animal Hospital tons of licks and wags of the tail. She has been a patient there since she was six weeks old. The care and the love she receives each visit is remarkable. People should get that great of care from their doctors. When I come back again I would like to come back as a pet and in the care of all those wonderful doctor's and staff at the VCA.
Rove you!

VCA does more than they know

-Barbara from Winthrop, MA
Pet Name: Princess

I started bringing my 4 year old (at the time) Mini Dachshund to VCA Everett, due to a recommendation from a friend. I had her since she was 7 weeks old and as most of you know our pets are more like our children!! The vet she was seeing in E. Boston (No names mentioned), she didn't like. She actually snapped at once. She had an allergic reaction to a flea collar (which we didn't know at the time). The vet had told me that it was an immune deficiency and this would only get worse, that I should think about putting her down :(So I sot out the help of my friends, asking for names and numbers of good vets, telling the story of my vet and saying I just wanted a second opinion. I was given the name of a GREAT vet, Dr. Lightbody. When we first walked in telling we both were nervous, Ashley came out and was playing with Princess as I filled out as much as I could of the initial paperwork! When we went in to see the doctor, Princess was wagging her tail and rolling over on her back for the doctor to rub her belly! She was comfortable and playful. That was it (I thought) this was her doctor!! As we all know when pets, it's not just routine appointments that bring us to the vet. But no matter why we're walking throw those doors, we're ALWAYS going to feel welcome and most importantly comfortable!!!From Barbara and Princess THANK YOU VCA Animal Hospital of Everett

Compassionate Care at VCA

-Molly's Mommy from Everett, MA
Pet Name: Molly

I had to take my cat Molly to the vet today to have her put down. It was a hard decision to have to make. The vet tech was a very kind woman who shared her experience of doing the same the year before. We talked about Molly's limitations and how she was declining. The tech understood that Molly's quality of life wasn't very good and explained the procedure asking if I wanted to stay with her. I did. Dr. Lightbody came in and asked me if I needed more time. She let me stand with her while she was given the first shot and then the second. I got to give her a kiss goodbye. The room where this is performed is not clinical at all and very homey. They are very sensitive to pet loss and understand the difficulties in reaching these decisions. I can't compliment them enough on their sensitivity and how they handled this. They were a blessing during this time. And understand the love a pet parent has for their baby.

VCA saved my dog Rubia

-kenniana Monje from Chelsea, MA
Pet Name: Rubia

I have a 3 year old 13 pound female chihuahua mix named Rubia. On March 11, 2013 she was hit by a car in Chelsea. I was so scared,I was hysterical and crying because I thought she was going to die. I took her to VCA Everett after she got hit and they saved my dogs life and treated her injuries. She had no broken bones or internal bleeding but she did have some cuts on her back legs that required staples and a concussion. My dog is her self again and she is healthy. I am so grateful to everyone at VCA Everett that helped saved my dog Rubia. The service is great.

Love this place!!!

I made the huge mistake to switch my dog from VCA Everett Animal Hospital to another pet clinic. My dog was screaming and yelping in pain everytime I picked her up or touched her. She would yelp in pain even when nobody was touching her. I took my dog to VCA Everett Animal Hospital and doctor Berard saw my dog and helped her. They gave me pills to help my dog. VCA Everett is the best!!!!
