Technician SupervisorAlex Gutierrez
Alex has been a technician at VCA Everett since January 2008, and has worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years. He started his career in El Salvador and came to the US back in 2001. Alex's strong technical skills and good humor make him an invaluable part of our team. He is currently working towards his veterinary technician certification.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys running and has taken part in several races, including a half-marathon. His family includes his adorable son, his sweet cock-a-poo, Onyx ,and his fuzzy kitten, Gus.
Licensed Veterinary TechnicianSage W, CVT
Sage started at VCA Everett in 2007 as a veterinary technician. She was promoted to the Hospital Manager position in July of 2010, and received her veterinary technician certification in 2012. She feels honored to witness the love and care that our clients provide to their special family members ,and enjoys seeing the wide diversity of critters that come into the hospital every day. In the summer of 2014, Sage decided to step down as Hospital Manager of VCA Everett to focus her attention on her studies.
When Sage is not at work, she enjoys going to concerts, doing yoga, and hiking. She has a special interest in toxicology and endocrinology, and has completed work at the endocrinology lab at UMASS Boston.
Claire has been with VCA Everett since June 2008. Claire's kind attitude and incredible organizational ability make her a huge asset to our team of technicians. She has a very cute Pomeranian mix named Niklaus and a calico kitty named Lana. Besides animals, her interests include rock music, scary movies, and hanging out with her friends and adorable daughter.
Kevin started his VCA career in Texas at our sister location VCA Oak Hills. We were very lucky to have him join our team in May of 2013. Kevin is originally from Sacramento, CA and is a fan of the 49ers and the Giants, which we don't hold against him. He received a Veterinary Assistant Certificate from Kaplan University in the summer of 2011 and has continued on the path to become a veterinary technician. He enjoys watching and playing soccer and outdoor activities with his four legged family members.
