Dr. Julie Bennington, DVM, Medical Director

Biography

Dr. Bennington has held numerous leadership positions in a variety of career fields before settling down to be a veterinarian in private practice. As Medical Director of the only AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Cecil County, Dr. Bennington takes pride in knowing her clients and patients by name, diagnosing and treating those tough cases, and is known for her meticulous attention to detail, follow through, and catching diseases early. "Failure is not an option" from the Apollo XIII Mission is her motto, and with her as your pet's doctor, you will get results. 

Her special field of interest is dermatology having successfully diagnosed and treated multiple cases of hypothyroidism, atopy and sterile pyogranulomatous syndrome, in particular in Labrador Retrievers.

When Dr. Bennington is not caring for your furry family members, she enjoys weight training, spinning, and all kinds of dancing.
