VCA Elkton Animal Hospital

Dr. Julie Bennington, DVM, DVM, Medical Director

Biography

Dr. Bennington has held numerous leadership positions in a variety of career fields before settling down to be a veterinarian in private practice. As Medical Director of the only AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Cecil County, Dr. Bennington takes pride in knowing her clients and patients by name, diagnosing and treating those tough cases, and is known for her meticulous attention to detail, follow through, and catching diseases early. "Failure is not an option" from the Apollo XIII Mission is her motto, and with her as your pet's doctor, you will get results.

When Dr. Bennington is not caring for your furry family members, she enjoys weight training, spinning, and spending time with her family, to include a young, rambunctious silver Labrador Retriever, whom she has diagnosed and successfully treats for hypothyroidism, atopy, and sterile pyogranulomatous syndrome.
