    Melissa Volpone

Melissa is a junior Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences Major with a Wildlife Conservation minor at University of Delaware. Originally from Pennsylvania, she lived with her parents, older brothers, grumpy cat, and bearded dragon. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys hiking, acting, singing, playing music, and traveling.

I have loved animals my entire life. As a child, I watched far too much Animal Planet and tried to take home every stray I could find. As I grew up, this turned into the passion of my lifetime and I now know that I will spend the rest of my life trying to help the animals around me. I am currently in school to become a veterinarian and I hope to work in an emergency veterinary clinic or a wildlife rehabilitation center in the future.
