  Since 1999, we have entrusted the care of our cats to the VCA El Mirage Animal Hospital. A more caring, professional, and competent staff would be difficult to find. We are especially grateful to Dr. Waltman (and to Dr. Bender, his predecessor) for their help. Dr. Waltman cares not only for our pets but expresses concern for the "parents," as well. He is everything we hoped to find in a veterinarian. Lady, Moustache, Buttons, Suzy, and Clyde all agree.

  I first met Dr.Waltman back in the late 90's, I moved to avondale in 2002 but made the drive to Dr Waltman to take my cats sissy, mister whisper. I moved to mesa and then back to Glendale, remembering the BEST care that my cats received. I returned to VCA & Dr. Waltman. I now have 6 cats! Nothing but the BEST for my babies!! All i can say if Dr. Waltman was a MD he would be my PCP, and you can't find a more caring staff, they work hard to give you their best service and are always ready to help you in anyway they can...even on short notice.I highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital, Dr. Waltman & his wonderful staff for the BEST care for all your animals.

  Great and Caring Service for our Dog

  We live in both California and Arizona with our Lahso and Poodle mix, Beethoven. When we discovered that he had what appeared to be an infection to his upper gums, we sought out the VCA El Mirage Animal Hospital since it had been recommended to us.
  
  We were not disappointed. The staff at the facility both from our original contact and at the office were kind and helpful. Dr. Waltman, conducted his examination and provided us with all the options for our pet's care. His concern, advice and follow up were truly a great service and we certainly will continue with them and recommend them to anyone who may need such assistance.

  Between my Mum's cats, my little dog Bloke and my Little Bear before him the VCA El Mirage Animal Hospital has taken us in a few times over the years. It has always been a wonderful experience. Dr. Waltman is extraordinary in his caring, knowledgeable ways. He puts animals and their owner's completely at ease. A couple of Mum's cats had to pass on and just recently, March 5, 2012, he helped old Ducky pass on to a better place where there was no more pain or discomfort. He was so caring, gentle and thoughtful. The animal world is better off for having him around.

  While spending a couple of months in warmer country our border collie Maddie's problems became worse. We made an appointment and saw Dr Waltman. He was so caring and good to an awfully scared little dog who had made many trips to our vet clinic locally. He came up with some ideas and suggestions and we are happy to say she is thriving and her old self again. This clinic made an awfully sad and scary situation into a success for our family. Thank you Dr Waltman and staff!

  Amazing staff

  Two days after we adopted our puppy Charlie, we found out he had Parvo. My family was devastated! Dr. Waltman and his staff were wonderful. Charlie ended up staying in isolation there for 4 days with a continuous IV and meds. We were kept up-to-date on everything that was happening and felt at ease to call and check in on him whenever we got the urge. I could not have asked for a better experience. Our puppy completely recovered and is happy and healthy! What started off as a terrible experience turned into something wonderful. I have recommended the El Mirage VCA to many of our friends and family. A million "Thank yous" wouldn't be enough!

  We started visiting the VCA system back in 2004. We have been treated with care and understanding at all times. We have been with the El Mirage group since 2005 and Zoe, our Pug, gets a wonderful greeting each visit and the best care that we could ask for. From the front office to the Tech support, everyone has a smile. Highly recommend either doctor.

  Being new to the area, I hadn't established my kitty boys with a vet yet. When Merlin started having a "pukie" problem, I made an appointment to have him checked out. There was an atmosphere of calm, even in the midst of construction. The staff was kind and friendly, and Dr. Waltman was great. Merlin gives VCA El Mirage "two paws up"!!
