Why I do what I do: I started out wanting to be a Certified Veterinary Technician so I could work with animals, but found loving the people just as much as the animals. I never thought I could enjoy a job so much. I love the versatility and divesity of being a vet. tech. Some days I am a counsler, some days a radiology tech, a dental hygenist, a teacher , a friend and most of all a nurse. Thank you for allowing me to take care of your furry friends. Renee

Amy joined our hospital just over 4 years ago. She has been caring for animals for the last 20 years, starting as a volunteer for the local SPCA then working her way into animal care at the Seeing Eye and finally settling on a career as a veterinary technician.
