Julie joined our team in April 2011. We are pleased to announce that Julie is our newest Technician Supervisor. Julie brings an extensive background in Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, and Surgery nursing to our hospital. She has been working with animals since she was 15 years old. Julie's dog Rza donates his blood through the local animal blood bank in effort to help other sick or injured dogs. Julie resides with 2 dogs and 3 cats. In her spare time she enjoys, photography, church and Pitbull awareness. -

Renee joined East Penn in 2001 as a technician while finishing tech school. Since then she has been through many changes with the hospital and is now proud to be managing the facility. Renee has worked as an Emergency and Critical Care Technician and assisted with the Lehigh Valley's only Animal Blood Bank. She currently owns 5 cats and a turtle. Renee enjoys spending time w/ her family and the outdoors.

Melissa was a member of the VCA William Penn Team for 11 years. Since the merger of VCA William Penn with VCA Northside Animal Hospital, Melissa has joined the team here at VCA East Penn Animal Hospital. Melissa also recently obtained her degree in Veterinary Technology and passed her state boards. We are proud to welcome another Certified Veterinary Technician to our team. She is the proud owner of a German Shepherd named Lu Chen. Her hobbies include biking, hiking, and is an avid martial artist and has been practicing for 14 years. -

Amy Williams
Amy joined our hospital just over 4 years ago. She has been caring for animals for the last 20 years, starting as a volunteer for the local SPCA then working her way into animal care at the Seeing Eye and finally settling on a career as a veterinary technician. Amy is happily married for over 10 years to her husband Ryan. They have a one-eyed cat, Fred, a crazy cat, Dega and Lab/Border Collie mix named Bristol. Outside of work Amy enjoys reading, cross-stitch, playing with her animals and shopping.
