    Gloria Hieter

    Gloria has been a member of our hospital team here at East Penn for over 30 years now. She has worked in most of the positions around the hospital but enjoys being at our front desk welcoming and interacting with clients the most. Gloria shares here many stories of her experiences and of course her dog Trooper with all of our clients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her dog and her family including her grandchildren.

    Why I do what I do: From the time I was a child my dream was to work with animals. 36 years later I am still doing it and loving it!

    Meghan Jones

    Meghan joined East Penn just over 4 years ago as a receptionist however she has also helped as a room tech. Her warm personality and smile are always welcoming clients and patients. Meghan lives with her husband, Chris, son Trevin and their 3 cats and 1 dog. In her spare time Meghan enjoys reading and spending time outside.

    Why I do what I do: I have loved animals ever since I was little and tried to nurse my first turtle back to health. Working at VCA East Penn Vet. seemed like a perfect fit and I have gained an extended family including the" furry babies."

    Cydni Ticktin
    Veterinary Tech School: Lehigh Carbon Community College
    School: Millersville University, Bachelors in Science

    After Graduating from Millersville University in 2013, Cydni began working with VCA Knightswood A.H. in Philadelphia. After a year there she decided to go back to school to become a certified technician. She moved to the Lehigh Valley in May of 2014 and began working with VCA East Penn. She is currently enrolled at Lehigh Carbon Community College in the veterinary technician program which she will finish in the spring of 2016. She is also the proud owner of an Akita Mix named Bear who keeps her busy outside of work and school. She also enjoys baking and any activities outside. Some day she hopes to own her own dairy farm and get involved with large animal medicine.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  .  Why I do what I do: I have a passion for working with all animals and love to learn new things. I believe all animals deserve to have someone to take care of them and care for them like a family member and this is why I do what I do.
