  • Tiny Place With a Huge Heart

    -Lori from East Norriton, PA
    Pet Name: Samantha

Pet Image I moved to the area about 2 years ago and had put off vet care for my dog. When I could no longer delay, I chose this office because of it's location. But I'll be back because of the staff. It's easy to get an appointment that works with my schedule and EVERYONE there is so caring and gentle. My dog, Samantha, stresses when at the vet in general, but is much more at ease here than I've seen her at other vets. If you're considering going somewhere else, DON'T! This is the place you want to take care of your fur baby!

  • Nothing but the best

    -Ann H. from Norristown, PA
Pet Name: Godiva, Hope, Punkin, Rufus

Pet Image I have taken my pets here from almost the minute they opened. I have only had one vet in that time whom I did not like (That Doctor is no longer with VCA East Norriton). Other than that vet I have LOVED all the Drs. I've seen. They have been nothing but compassionate especially when I had an emergency with a cat when she was only 4 months old. For any problem other than routine an estimate is provided before any services are given and you have the option to decline. The vet tech and office staff are extremely friendly and ALL Drs. with the exception of one have been gentle with my pets. I find the prices competitive and like everything else you get what you pay for!

  • The Fabulous Staff of VCA East Norriton....

-Steve and Becky Novelli from Jeffersonville, PA
    Pet Name: Snowball Novelli

Pet Image It has taken us almost 2 months now to able to write this but... my husband and I had to make a VERY difficult decision on Christmas Eve day 2010 to put our 14 1/2 year old American Eskimo dog Snowball asleep Forever. The Compassionate VCA East Norriton Staff especially Rachel, was sooo helpful and understanding that day of our decision. We didn't want to ruin anyone's Christmas Holiday, the caring staff wanted to help us as well as our "Forever Friend" Snowball to be at ease with our decision, and make it very comfortable for Snowball to say goodbye. The staff had Always been a part of Snowball's life too, and they felt the loss also. We Thank Everyone for their Kindness and Beautiful words that were written and signed by all and sent in a sympathy card. Thank you also for giving us the name of 'Abbey Glen' in Quakertown to have Snowball picked up and cremated. They provided us with a small box with a name plate and her cremains. For anyone that is or will be going through this tough decision, rest assured VCA Staff and Abbey Glen will make it easier for you.

    Steve & Becky Novelli

  • Thank you so much

    -Ashley from Norristown, PA
    Pet Name: Josh

Pet Image My sisters and I had to make the decision to put down our 15 year old collie/mix named Josh that we grew up with. The staff was so thoughtful and understanding. It was the most difficult decision of our lives and I am glad that we had such caring people with us in our time of need.

  • Wonderful, positive experiences

    -SJG from Norristown, PA
    Pet Name: Maggie

I've taken my puppy Maggie there since I first got her, and Dr. Gellman has always been so wonderful with her. He greats her very cheerfully each time he sees her, and comments positively on her growth and development. Dr. Gellman has given me wonderful advice from what to feed to her little quirks that I tend to be paranoid about. Maggie is my first puppy and Dr. Gellman has helped me survive the first few months of puppy-hood while keeping my sanity! The staff is always very kind and treats Maggie like she is as special to them as all the other pets that they see are. Very kind-hearted people and a great Doc!!

  • Wonderful staff

    -Rosemarie Owoc from Bridgeport, PA
    Pet Name: Sarge

We just took our dog Sarge here for the first time, and we were very pleased! The staff was very friendly, and were just as concerned as we were about him. The Dr had many recommendations, and answered all of my questions. He offered many things to ensure the best recovery of Sarge's skin infection, and explained everything in detail. They were also very reasonably priced!

  • Great team, exceptional service.

-Richard A Branca Jr. from Worcester, PA
    Pet Name: Sasha and Miller

I don't normally write things of this nature but I had to in regards to the VCA Animal Hospital. WHAT A TEAM!!!!! From the techs to the doc's especially Dr. Phelan!!!! Doc has been responsible for my 2 boxers (Sasha and Miller - 11 and 12 years old). They are thorough, responsive, informative and most important CARING!!!! To the team at the VCA - THANK YOU!!!! Oh I almost forgot....thanks to both Rachael's (hope I spelled that correctly) you make us feel like home when we walk in the door!!

    Sincerely,

    Richard Branca Jr.

  • House Calls Rule

-Angela and GJ Flores from Audubon, PA
Pet Name: Cleo, Echo, Romeo, Fred, and George

We love that the team at East Norriton will make house calls. It was much less stressful for our five cats than coming into the office, and less stressful and time consuming for us since we didn’t have to make multiple trips. Dr. Gellman and Holly were very professional and caring. They were as thorough as they were in the office. They could even make additional suggestions for helping alleviate symptoms because they could see the cats in their normal environment, like George sitting under the vent not helping his breathing issues. We will absolutely have the East Norriton team come to us for annual checkups and any other exams we can.

  • Caring Staff

    -Marianne from East Norriton, PA
    Pet Name: Maggie

I recently had to put down our sweet 14 year old, half Shepherd/half Golden Retriever, Maggie. She was like a subsitute grandchild to us until we received the real things. Needless to say, only the best would do for her and I found it in the caring staff at VCA, especially Rachel K. (dark haired). Thank you for being there with me. When I meet Maggie again on the Rainbow Bridge, I know she'll be looking for you too!

  • My Cody

    -Linda from Plymouth Meeting, PA
    Pet Name: Cody

Pet Image Dr. Gellman and his staff are the best. My sweet Cody passed away a couple months ago. When she wouldn't take her pills, Dr. Gellman and his staff went above and beyond to help me give them to her. He always made me feel like my dog was the only one he saw all day. Rachel was always caring and showed a lot of empathy whenever we came in. Her kindness and caring is so appreciated. They sent me a beautiful sympathy card for my Cody. And at Christmas time they sent me a lovely box of homemade cookies. These are very good people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your comfort at my time of need.
