Biography

Dr. Kate Hooper received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University in 2012, graduating with highest honors and receiving the Dr. E.E. Wedman award for most outstanding senior student.

Dr. Kate recently completed an intensive internship in emergency medicine and critical care at DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital in Portland, OR.

Dr. Kate’s interests include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, and avian/exotic species. She volunteers with the Oregon Humane Society, Pro-Bone-O Veterinary Clinics, and is an executive board member of the Whole Dog Academy.

She is a native of Portland, Oregon and is very excited to be practicing in the Pacific NW, where she shares her home with three adorable cats and the world's best dog.
