Technician ManagerJennifer Ward
Veterinary Tech School: Mississippi State University
Jen started here in 2004. She is our Technician Manager and affectionately calls her technician staff the "Technitrons". Jen was born in Memphis and raised in Collierville, a Memphis suburb. She is married and has a son named Luke. Jen enjoys reading, swimming, other water sports, and playing with Luke. She also enjoys skydiving and firmly believes that everyone should try it at least once in their lifetime. Jen and her husband are leaders of the youth group at their church. They have two Labrador Retrievers named Meat "Meat Man" and Holly "Hollybug" and two outdoor goldfish named Bullseye and Disco. Jen chose this career because she believes that it is like having a child; it is hard work and mentally taxing, but the rewards far exceed the trials. She feels it is a privilege to get to contribute to the health and well-being of our area pets.
Chelsea is one of the newest members of our team. She grew up right here in the Memphis area. She now lives in Oakland with her fiancé and her son Braden. Chelsea had previous experience as a technician and has quickly become a valuable asset to our team. She has a special interest in our community outreach programs and is looking forward to being involved and helping the pets in our area. When she is not working, Chelsea enjoys riding four-wheelers and hanging out with her friends. Chelsea loves being able to make a career of something she enjoys so much. She says that being a veterinary technician is a constant learning process so it is great to have the support of her "work" family.

Kalin was born and raised right here in Memphis, TN. When she was eight, she started pet sitting for neighbors. She worked at a boarding facility for two years before joining our team in 2012. Kalin is married and has three big, beautiful German Shepherds - Lady, Memphis and Maggie. She is currently in school to become a LVMT, but when she has time off, she and her husband head to the beach. She is a die-hard fan of the New England Patriots and Bruno Mars! Kalin is just one of our technicians who volunteers with the local, low-cost spay/neuter clinics. She believes that because of the joy our pets bring us during their short time on Earth, we should do all we can to make their lives happy and healthy.

Raised in historic Memphis, TN, Rickelle spent her childhood as a country girl enjoying the simple things like building a treehouse or hiking with her family. She received a BS in Science at UT Marting where she focused on Companion Animal Science. She was among the first students to participate in UT's new Veterinary Technology program. Rickelle spends her spare time working out at the gym, enjoying the company of friends and family or snuggling with Kujo (Yorkie). We were very excited to welcome Rickelle to our team in 2012. She loves being able to help pets live long, healthy lives, and if you see someone skipping through the halls at VCA Eads, it's probably her.
Megan was born and raised in Woodbury, TN, where her family owned and operated a dairy farm. Her husband's career brought them to Memphis in 2008. That is also when Megan found her way to VCA Eads Animal Hospital. Having grown up on a farm, Megan knew she wanted to continue working with animals. She has two dogs of her own; Bella (Jack Russell) and Gabby (boxer). In her spare time Megan enjoys hunting, fishing, and doing pretty much anything outdoors with her son, Max. She is a member of the TN Walking Horse Assn. and she rides every chance she gets. Megan loves helping animals in need. She finds that giving care to all her patients is an awesome reward on a daily basis.
