Client Services

  • Receptionist

    Pennie Anderson

Pennie began working here in 2003 as a kennel assistant.  She has cross-trained in all departments and is currently a receptionist.  Pennie was born in Brownsville, TN and grew up in Dancyville.  She is married and has a son named Nash.  Pennie exhibits true southern charm and enjoys water skiing, 4-wheeler riding, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.  She is also learning to quilt.  Pennie participates in charitable walks that give back to her community, such as the Cotton Festival Walk and the Breast Cancer Walk.  She has three dogs - Zeus (Australian Shepherd), Lucky Angel (Chihuahua), and Rosie (Rottie mix).  Pennie enjoys this career because she loves helping pets.

  • Receptionist

    Dee Parker

Dee is a 21-year veteran of the US Navy where she worked as barracks management and a chef.  She was born in Indiana, but grew up in Memphis.  She is married with 2 daughters, one adopted from China, and three grandchildren.  During the eight years she was stationed in Italy, Dee placed 2nd and 3rd in Italian NATO horse racing.  She teaches Sunday school at the First Baptist Church in Millington and enjoys gardening and reading.  She has two dogs - Alex (Jack Russell) and Henry (Terrier Mix), two cats (Adelaide & Mr. Picki Picki) and five chickens (who shall remain nameless).  Dee has always loved all animals from frogs to elephants and she loves the daily interaction with all the pets we see at VCA Eads Animal Hospital.

  • Receptionist

    Sheila Sollars

Sheila came to us in 2012 from many years in the auto industry.  She was born and raised in St. Joseph, MO.  She and her husband have two daughters and four grandchildren that they love spending time with.  Sheila claims there is a song about every topic and she would be happy to sing one for you!  She is involved in choir, Sunday school and outreach programs at the First Baptist Church in Millington.  Her four-legged babies are Dexter (Choc Lab) and Sully (Bloodhound).  Sheila's heart beats for animals, so after many years in customer service, she wanted to use her skills to serve our clients by educating them on how to provide the best care for their pets.

  • Receptionist

    McKinley Taylor

McKinley has worked here since 2013 and is cross-trained in all areas.  Currently, she is working in Reception, but does have plans to start classes to become a LVMT.  She grew up in Beaumont, TX.  When she was ten years old, she ran away from home, taking nothing but her dog, some dog treats (already putting her dog first) and a sleeping bag.  She was back home before sundown.  McKinley still has the dog she ran away with - Keebler (Cocker Spaniel-Weenie Mix) and another dog Rocky (Rottie).  She chose this career to at least try to return the unconditional love our pets show us.
