Client Services

  • Client Service

    Kayce Shehan
Veterinary Tech School: NC State University

Prior to joining our team, she worked in a doggie daycare while in college. She has been with VCA now for 1 ½ years. She plans to further her knowledge in the companion animal field. Her current animal companions include Alice, an Australian Cattle Dog, Berkley, a Shuh-Tzu mix, Dallas, a Boston Terrier, and Munch, a marmalade Tabby. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, fishing, spending time with family and friends, white water rafting and boating.

  • Receptionist

    Evie Wright

Evie recently joined our VCA family after transferring from VCA Village in Florida. The beauties of the Carolina's have attracted Evie and her frisky cat Tweekers (Tweekers refused to be photographed so we found a stand in) to the Raleigh area. She graduated from BCC in Florida with an A.A. but was drawn to the veterinary field due to her love for animals. Her past technician skills have been a bonus for our client's education on the front side of our hospital. She enjoys greeting and meeting you and your four-legged family members along side our reception team.

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you. Our specialized services include: behavior, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, rehabilitation, reproduction, and surgery.
