Bernard Brown, DVM, Medical Director

DVM, Michigan State University

Dr. Bernard Brown has worked at Dover Animal Hospital for 40 years, 13 years of which have been continued dedication after the transition to VCA Dover Animal Hospital. I was honored and felt very fortunate to remain on as the Medical Director. I grew up in Quincy, Massachusetts and graduated from North Quincy High School. I further pursued my education and graduated from Michigan State University in 1973 with my degree in Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine. I practice high quality medicine and will never settle for anything less than the best care for any patient being treated at our hospital. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats at home! "Chloe" my boston terrier, "Mia" & "Luna" my rat terriers, and "Sasha" & "Lulu" my siamese cats. In his free time I enjoy exercising, riding motorcycles, being a soccer dad, and traveling!

Why I Do What I Do: I decided early on in the 7th grade I was going to be a veterinarian. I love animals and love what I do to keep them healthy or get them back to being healthy! I always treat my patients as if they were my own!
