Originally from Pennsylvania, Terry spent a number of years in California and Illinois before settling down in Colorado. Terry is a former business owner who earned her Associates degree from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 1994, and maintains her certification as a veterinary technician. With 14 years experience at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital, Terry transferred to VCA Douglas County Animal Hospital in 2008. Her passion is to be part of a team that offers the best medicine available for your pets, delivered with compassion. She and her husband share their home with three children and 2 Shih Tzu, Grace and Wicket. Terry is a Reiki Master Teacher and a Firewalker.
Office ManagerDiane Cagle
Originally from New Mexico, Diane has been with VCA Douglas County Animal Hospital since 2007. She originally joined the staff as a client service representative and in 2010 Diane accepted a promotion to front office manager. Diane has an Associates degree in business management and over 25 years of experience in the hospitality and service industry. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, and Diane likes to garden, scrapbook and read. Two boxers named Roxie and Lulah complete her family.

Veterinary Tech School: National College
Tom received his Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from National College in Rapid City, South Dakota in 1988. Born and raised in South Dakota, Tom wanted to move out of state so he worked in Iowa, Nebraska, and Arizona. He then moved to Colorado where he joined the VCA team in 1993. Tom worked at VCA All Pets in Boulder as a Certified Veterinary Technician and purchaser, and then joined our team at VCA Douglas County Animal Hospital in 2009 as our purchaser and inventory manager. Tom, his wife Becky, and there 2 girls are owned by their 4 cats; Smash, PC, Dory, and Marley, and the African Grey parrot Ellie. Tom and his wife are foster parents for children. Tom spends his down time watching TV and movies, and working on computers.
