At VCA Douglas County Animal Hospital, we help pets live long, healthy and happy lives. Our passion is in providing the highest quality medical care for your pets delivered with love and compassion, and the best experience for you, with transparency and integrity.

Located in Castle Rock, our veterinarians, technicians and pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medications ensures that all of our patients receive the best in preventive and healing care.

At VCA Douglas County Animal Hospital, our dedicated and compassionate staff are committed to providing comprehensive health care for special four-legged family members. Our team of general practice veterinarians will guide you through the process of everything you need to know in order to provide your pet with the best care possible from nutrition, to vaccinations, to weight management, and everything in between, through all stages of life.  

We recognize the special bond between people and their pets, and in every case we strive to provide the best care possible through our friendly and knowledgeable staff members. Our veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other pet-friendly personnel, some of who speak Spanish, Arabic, and French, as well as English, are trained to the highest standards. In addition to our comprehensive wellness services, we offer dental care, soft tissue surgery, cold laser therapy, and radiology. We provide wellness care and care for illnesses and injuries, and only recommend necessary tests and treatments. Our doctors also provide services for rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs and rats.   

For over 25 years, Douglas County Animal Hospital has been serving Castle Rock and the surrounding areas, including Castle Pines, Perry Park, Sedalia, Lone Tree, Parker, Monument, Palmer Lake, Colorado Springs and Franktown. 

We offer free WiFi, and coffee, water, and other beverages during your appointments, as well as wellness plans to help your pet live a happy and healthy life.

As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
