    Staci Melton

    Staci was born in Topeka, Kansas and moved to Cedar Hill in 1987. As a child, Staci was an avid basketball, volleyball and softball player, as well as participating in the FFA program. In 1996 she won Reserve Grand Cahmpion out of 1200 market hogs at Centennial Fort Worth Stock Show. Following high school graduation, she attended Cedar Valley College and has worked for veterinary hospitals since she was 15. She has been employed at VCA Desoto Animal Hospital since 2002. She has two children, Kelsea, 14 a high school freshman and Max, 9, in third grade.  Her 4 legged family members are 2 kitties, Khleopatra and Sargeant Popcorn.

    Sarah Bliss

    Sarah was born in Dallas and moved to Desoto with her family when she was 6 months old. The oldest of four children, she spent her childhood in Desoto and graduated from Desoto High School. After spending a few years attending Mountain View College and the University of Texas at Austin, Sarah came to work for VCA Desoto Animal Hospital in October of 2007. This is a good fit for Sarah since her family has been clients of the hospital for over 20 years. Sarah has a dog named Buddy and 3 cats, Lola, Reggie and Juno.

    Ellen Clickard
    School: Howard Payne University

    Ellen grew up in Duncanville and graduated in 2000 from Duncanville High School. She enjoyed band and a co-op program in early childhood development. She now lives n Italy, Texas with her husband, 2 labs- Bunnie a 10 year old chocolate, and Chance a 3 year old yellow. Life at her home will soon change as she s expecting their first baby boy in early December.
