Dear Dr. Seacord & Staff,

Thank you so very much for seeing Rudder on an emergency basis this past Wednesday & making sure that he was ok. It was very reassuring to us. Also your kindness & professionalism in the two follow-up calls were very much appreciated.

Thoughtful Care

-Merle Marsh from Ocean Pines, MD

What a pleasant place to take your pets! Dr. Seacord helped my Abigail the GrouchCat to 19 years of a good, healthy life. Everyone, the staff and Drs. Wu and Seacord, came out to play with my new puppy Apple. It's obvious that all at VCA Delmarva care about the people and animals who come through its doors.

Thank you

R.I.P Buddy

-Karen Selss from Potomac, MD

Yesterday was a very sad day for me.I had to put my 17yr old Maltese to sleep. I have never been to VCA before as I am from Potomac and live in OC in the summer. The staff was very supportive.
Dr. Seacord is a very kind and professional person. She tried to make it as easy as possible for me. I decided that I didnt want to be with him when they put him down. Dr. Seacord reassured me that her and her assistant would take good care of him. It made a very painful day a a little easier. Thank you Dr. Seacord. You have a new client. I have a 7 yr old Pomeranian. Thank You, Karen Selss

Loved it here.

In Oct. of '09, we adopted 2 kittens (sisters) from the local Humane Society. Within 3 mos., it was obvious Maui wasn't well. I took her to Dr. Seacord who immediately told me what she suspected: FIP - a fatal feline disease for which there is no absolute test and no cure. She started Maui on antibiotics but by Feb., 2010, we had to put her down. Dr. Seacord is WONDERFUL! She is professional, very knowledgeable and extremely caring. I highly recommend her and her team!

You helped me with Molly.

-Marie Velong from Berlin, MD
Pet Name: Daisy

I do not use this service regularly, but have had to several times for emergencies. The most recent was when my dog, Molly, had to leave me. She had suffered from renal failure for several months and finally needed help in passing and could not wait for her regular vet to do this. Dr. Seacord and her staff were wonderful, comforting and understanding in our grief at losing Molly. I had also been to them for my mother's dog, Daisy, who is now living with me. The doctor was very good with her and recommended a specialist that helped save Daisy's eye from the cat claw puncture she had experienced. I will continue to use VCA for Daisy. I have received a beautiful sympathy card with personal signatures and notes from Dr. Seacord and her staff. It was very touching and I thank them!

VCA Staff are My Very Favorite Friends

-Tank from Berlin, MD
Pet Name: Tank Brady

I was rescued awhile back and Dr. Wu and her staff pampered me back to health. They got my fur to grow back, took care of my mites (wow were they annoying!) and especially my ears!! Everyone is so loving and treat me like I'm their Favorite! Thank you so very much! I love everyone there!!! :)

Helped my dog when no one else would

-Joy from Pasadena, MD
Pet Name: Buddy

I was recently camping at Shad Landing and going to Assateague beach during the day, and my dog Buddy got sick quickly with vomit coming out of the front and blood coming out of the back. I wasn't going to be able to get him home before my vet closed which is 3 hours away, and I knew that Buddy needed help. He wasn't even drinking water anymore or attempting to eat anything. I tried several other animal hospitals in the area, and no one would help me....the earliest was 2:30 the following day!! Finally, I tried VCA Delmarva and even though they didn't really have any openings and had no idea who I was, they found a way to fit Buddy in. Everyone in the office was extremely nice, welcoming, and genuinely concerned with Buddy. And even though Dr. Wu and the staff had a really long, rough day, they all took the time to make sure that Buddy got the love and care that he needed. I couldn't have asked for better care, even from my own vet. I am trying to move down to the Berlin area in the next year, and I will definitely be choosing VCA Delmarva as my vet!! Thank you so much for helping Buddy when no one else would and for being so wonderful!!!

My dog recently had a small lump on his leg that quickly began to look infected while on vacation in OC. Although I had never been to VCA Delmarva, they fit me in on the same day, while another local vet could not accommodate. Dr. Reynolds immediately took a sample and diagnosed it as a benign mass, with surgical removal recommended. Of course I wanted to have it taken care of ASAP, and she performed the procedure the same day! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful, and I would highly recommend this facility. They even helped my family several years ago when we had to say goodbye to our beloved family dog while on vacation. Such a great staff, that took care of my dog and eased the mind of his worried mom!
