Growing up, Laurel always loved being around animals, whether they were cats, dogs, farm animals, rodents, or reptiles, she was excited to meet them all. When starting college, she wasn't sure what she wanted to do, but knew she couldn't work an office job sitting down all day. When she learned that Delaware Technical Community College had a veterinary technology program, she applied right away. Laurel graduated from that program in 2020 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in Maryland shortly after.  When Laurel is not at work, she loves to read, play video games, travel, and hang out with her cats, Sanji, Albus, and Biscotti.
