  • Well worth the drive from NJ.

    -AGM from Columbus, NJ
    Pet Name: Lily

I have several prominent animal hospitals in my surrounding area that I have been to in the past, but none of the veterinarians I've dealt with were half as good as Dr. Beth Urbaniak.

What set her apart from the rest was she treated my cat with compassion, as if it were her own pet. And she was also very patient with all my questions, instead of looking to leave within minutes of starting our conversation.

She gave me all of my options in a practical manner, which I appreciated because it did not give me false hope, nor did she come off as pushy or aggressive.

I'm relieved to say that after years of going to different animal hospitals I've finally found a permanent veterinarian for my family's pets.

  • Best you can get

-Burt and Kathi Kolar from Levittown, PA

We have been with VCA Delaware Valley for about 25 years. We see mainly Dr. Beth Urbaniak, but one time on her day off our little Bichon Rachael had an emergency and saw Dr. Bilillo who took such good care of her she was back to her cute little self in no time. Dr. Urbaniak has been so great to all of our girls spending a lot of time on the phone and in person with us getting meds right, calling on blood work and urine test results, she is so good with us and our girls. Two of our pets needed a little more care at times and Dr. Urbaniak took care of them and all turned out good. All of the staff are great. Dr. Urbaniak is the best around we love all of them. One time our other Bichon was not at all herself and Dr. Urbaniak said she needed her teeth cleaned, so we had them cleaned and the next day she was like a puppy again. Thanks Dr. Urbaniak and staff for all you do for us.

  • Caring doctor

    -Jane E from LANGHORNE, PA

Dr. Carrie Phelps is the most caring vet I have ever seen in my life. She really cares about the animals and it shows in the medicine she practices. She is right down on the floor with Karleigh and the dog knows she cares as do we her parents. The world needs more vet with her knowledge, caring and concern for animals

  • Saved my cat's life

    -John U. from Levittown, PA
    Pet Name: Birdie

Pet Image Several years ago, my cat had a life-threatening case of pyometra which required emergency surgery. I am grateful to Dr. Bilello and the team for saving her life!

  • Dr. Beth Urbaniak VCA

    -Michael O. from Bristol, PA
    Pet Name: Lucky Puppy

Pet Image 2 weeks ago I had my first visit at VCA with Dr. Beth Urbaniak.

Dr. Urbaniak and the entire staff was pleasant, cordial, attentive and very professional.

Dr. Beth Urbaniak was patient, gentle and took time to answer all my questions and address all my concerns. She took her time and did not rush me in and out the door.

Another noteworthy good thing I noticed was that the office lacked the typical dog/cat/pet odor that is commonplace is most vet offices. YEAH!!! :)

My only complaint is that VCA prices are a bit high, but I think considering what they offer, it was worth it.

My bishon (Lucky Puppy) and I give 2 paws up and 2 thumbs up to Dr. Beth Urbaniak and VCA!

  • Making the right Decision

    -Colleen Snedeker from Levittown, PA
    Pet Name: Toby

Two weeks ago my husband and I came home to find the house full of blood and our 14 1/2 cocker spaniel bleeding from her nose and mouth....We called the hospital at 8.00pm right at closing time...Without hesitation we were instructed to come right over..Our Freckles hasn't been a patient at DVAC before but our bassett hound has...When we were in the car my husband and I talked about having to say goodbye to our beloved pet who has been with us since 6 weeks of age...When we arrived we were taken right back and like always had wonderful care....Upon examination we were told that without knowing much about her that it looked like she had bad teeth but cancer couldn't be ruled out...there is no guarantees for her and she is old and deaf and has bad seizures for many years now....We leaned towards putting her down just to not see her bleeding and suffering....Dr P saw our hesitation and asked us to please let her keep her and try to operate on her mouth in the morning...She said we have nothing to lose...It was her day off but she said I will be here first thing....We agreed to leave her and to our amazement at noon the next day we got a call that all was done....No cancer No tumors No nothing but all rotten teeth.....SHe pulled every one of her little teeth out....We picked her up and three days later she was eating pizza and pancakes....We have a very happy dog who will be able to live out the remainder of her life happy and pain free....She never once didn't eat or cry in pain about her teeth...We had no idea how bad they were...I am so thankful we did what was advised to us....It wasn't her time to go over the rainbow bridge....It was just some rotten old teeth she didnt need anyway....God bless you all you have given us a wonderful early Christmas present...Thank you again....Colleen

    -Ron Small from Langhorne, PA
    Pet Name: Butch, Mandy, Bailey

Pet Image I take my 3 dogs to see Dr Phelps and she is by far the best vet I've ever dealt with. She is thorough, caring, and very knowledgeable on everything I've ever come across with the health of my dogs. She is also great at returning calls and getting results of tests done to my dogs. I will NEVER allow my dogs to be treated by anyone other than Dr Phelps because they are my kids, and they deserve the very best!
