Dr. Sharon Mix was born in Garden Grove, CA. She earned her Associates in Chemistry at Mira Costa College in Oceanside, CA in 2000. She then attended San Diego State University when she earned her Bachelors in Biology with an emphasis in Zoology in 2002. She graduated from veterinary school from Oklahoma State University in 2009. Dr. Mix has been married to her husband, Gordon, for 15 years. They have two children together, Carl who is 7 and Caroline who is 4. She has one dog named Rufus who is a Rottie/Shepherd mix. In her spare time she likes to hang out with her husband and her kids.
