  • Technician Supervisor

    Jenn Drexler

    Jennifer Drexler started working in the veterinary field in 2005 as a veterinary technician assistant.  Joing the VCA DAvis team in 2011 as part-time technician, she then became full-time in 2012 assuming the Technician Supervisor position.  She loves everythig about being in the veterinary field from getting to know the clients and patients to teaching her teammates.  Originally sutdying to become a teacher in college, she soon realized that passion for animals was far greater.  She is originally from Ohio but grew up in western MA & northern CT.  She moved to Fairfield County two years ago with her boyfriend, David, adn their 6 female cats.  Critter & Gizmo are domestic shorthair sisters who love lounging on the bed all day.  Snowball is an all white domestic shorthair who tries to be the boss but is a big baby at the same time.  Cleo & Trouble are domestic longhair sisters who could not be any more different.  Callie is a domestic longhair who is the problem child of the house.  David & Jennifer also have 2 spotted leopard catfish and 3 goldfish.  They enjoy traveling to Aruba at least once a year.  They love going outdoors, when the weather permits, to go for a nice drive along the coast or relaxing at the beach.  She also enjoys reading, biking, spending time with family, and of course college basketball.

    Shay Darling

    Shay Darling is a veterinary technician here at Davis.  Shay has been working in the animal field for 16 years.  She has a love for all animals and enjoys working with them.   She grew up in Stamford, CT and currently lives in Norwalk, CT.  Shay has a picky gecko named Pinky, who will only eat crickets.  She also has a Bull Terrier named Peyton that comes to work with her most days as she loves the attention she gets from staff while she is here.  Shay is a mom to four great children, Angelica, Lucas, Noah and Aden.  They keep her busy outside of work with sports and other activities.  Shay loves to play sports herself and is on several teams.  She also enjoys singing karaoke, and listening to music.

    Rogine Preston

    Rogine Preston comes to VCA Davis from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he graduated 2014 with a degree in veterinary technology. . He is excited to put his knowledge to use and expand his knowledge of veterinary medicine. He hopes to one day pass the veterinary technician specialty boards in Emergency and Critical Care. He loves working with people and animals and always finds a bright spot in the day. He lives in Norwalk and recently adopted a rescue female dog named Mabel and a female cat named Scarlet. He enjoys hanging out, camping, playing football and basketball.

    Omar Reyes

    Omar Reyes lives in Bridgeport, CT.  He has been a veterinary technician for many years, working in both primary and referral practices before coming to VCA Davis.  He enjoy art, painting, tattoo, paintball, hiking, paddle boarding, skate boarding, camping and fishing.  He recently adopted a kitten named Zues, and also has a female tortie named Mustard.  She's like a dog.  She hears the doorbell and she growls.  Omar also has two turtles, an alligator snapper that he's had since he was a hatched and Lawrence, a red ear slider he adopted two years ago. 


  • Veterinary Assistant

    Jessica Castillo

    Jessica was born in in Colombia and moved to the Northeast United states when she was six. She attended both Southern Connecticut State University and the University of Connecticut. She became a veterinary assistant because she enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of veterinary practice. Jessica was a veterinary assistant in Fairfield, CT for 2 years before joining VCA Davis Animal Hospital. Outside of work her hobbies include drawing, painting, hiking with her dogs, and spending time with family. She has 3 dogs. The oldest, Rocky, is a Jack Russell Terrier with a big personality; Coby, a loving Labrador mix; and Benly, a Collie mix, who grew a little bit bigger than expected and loves chasing squirrels and jumping in lakes.


  • Veterinary Assistant

    Sasha Tatis

    Sasha currently lives in Stamford, but was born and raised in the Bronx, NY.  She studied at Norwalk Community College to become a Certified Veterinarian Assistant in 2012 after having worked in boarding and veterinary facilities in Fairfield County.  She always looks forward to building good relationships with our clients and their pets.  she has a dog named Toby(Shih-Tzu) who she adores.  Sasha also has 3 cockatiels that cruise the aprtment under supervision.  She enjoys cooking, listening to music, dancing, baseball(NY Yankees) and most of all, spending time with her daughter Ariana.
