Biography

Jason L. Berkowitz attended college at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts followed by Tufts Veterinary School in North Grafton, Massachusetts as part of a 7 year B.S./D.V.M. combined program, which he completed in 2002. He then performed an internship in medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Following his internship, Dr. Berkowitz joined our VCA team working at County Animal Clinic in Yonkers, NY, and was the medical director there from July 2006 to 2010. He joined us as medical director at Davis Animal Hospital in 2010. Dr. Berkowitz also completed the degree of Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University in January of 2009.

Dr. Berkowitz lives in Trumbull with his wife Kristine, who is a zoo and wildlife veterinarian. He has two children, Katiya and Keira, and his family also includes 3 cats named Chloe, Miles, and Mr. Masnugamapants, as well as 1 dog, an Australian shepherd mix named Maya. When he is not working, Dr. Berkowitz likes playing ice hockey, golf, and skiing.
