Vickie was born and raised in the Denver/Lakewood area. She has a B.S. in Human Services/Youth Corrections. She worked for the state of Colorado/Division of Youth Corrections for 32 years, retiring in 2013. Working with animals has always been in her plans for retirement. Vickie lives with her husband, Gene. They plan on adopting two dogs this summer. Vickie enjoys playing with dogs, gardening, watching football, basketball and hockey, and spending time with family and friends.
Melissa was born and raised in the Chicago area, and moved with her family to Colorado in 1996. She has a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. She lives with her husband and their adorable adopted pets: Freckles the Catahoula Leopard dog, Autumn the calico cat, Clover the orange tabby, and Brennen and Gary (her special needs kittens) . Melissa enjoys hiking and backpacking, rock climbing, and spending time with family and friends.
