Since I was little I wanted to become a Veterinarian, for some reason I ended up studying Biology, but my passion in working with animals always kept me connected to it. I have had different pets while growing up, dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, lizards and I always took good care of them, this is where my passion for this career began.

Hi, my name is Samantha. I currently attend college with the hopes of becoming a CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician). I have four fur kids, Faeyra (Husky), Pacco (the taco), Mia and Twix my cats.  Their loyalty and love keep  me motivated to keep being involved, I hope that every person and pet comes out better than they came in!

My passion for animals started as a kid watching “Animal Cops.” Since than I knew working with animals is something I wanted to do. Working for VCA has given me a great opportunity to gain knowledge and build bonds with other people and pets that share the same love for animals.

I have known that I want to be a veterinarian since I was seven years old. I grew up in a house that always had foster animals, most of which were sick when we took them in. When I was seven years old we took in an extremely aggressive cat that no one could handle. An hour after we took the cat in it was snuggled in my lap purring. That was the day I decided I wanted to be a vet. Since then I have fostered everything from a tree frog to a sugar glider and, at one point, had as many as fifteen animals at once.
