Biography
Claudia Martinez went to undergrad and vet school at the University of Florida. After finishing her studies she completed a year as a small animal medicine and surgery intern at VCA Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists, in NY, NY. She has 2 dogs (Cocoa Bean and Pebbles) . When not working she enjoys the outdoors, dancing, college football (Go Gators!!) and traveling whenever possible.
The best part of being a veterinarian is being an advocate and a voice for animals in need. Seeing a beloved member of the family overcome illness and be re-united with the rest of the family makes everything worth it. I also love to see healthy pets and build a bond with them and their families throughout the years. I love my career and I enjoy coming to work at Cypress Wood because of the great bond our staff has.
